1 Twin Screw Extruder Strand Cutting System
It is the most commonly used system. The polymer
compounded in the extruder passes through the
Breaker Plate of the die head at the end of the
barrel. The polymer is discharged through a die
nozzle into multiple strands by extrusion.
2 Twin Screw Extruder
Under Water Cutting System(uwc)
It is one of die face cutting system.
The polymer compounded with the extruder
is discharged from the nozzle on a circular die
at the end of the barrel. The polymer is cut
into pellets by rotating knives and cooled in
water, and transferred to the centrifugal dryer.
3 Twin Screw Extruder
Water-Ring Cutting System
It is one of die face cutting system.
The polymer compounded in the extruder is
discharged through a circular die nozzle at the
head of the barrel, cut into pellets, mixed up with
water which is rotating outside of the die, and
be cooled down and transferred in a slurry form.
