Torque specification is a numerical value that single-shaft torque value divided by the cube of distance between shafts center. (Specific Torque = Torque rating for shaft (Nm)/( Cm3)

  • When compounding polymer, energy consumption by material is different.
  • When choosing the right equipment for compounding polymer, the size of screw, cross-ratios (Do/Di) and torque specification are the major considerations.
  • Generally SM Platek extruder torque specification was 11.3 Nm/Cm3 but we developed 15.3 Nm/Cm3 to let our customers have more selection.
